During the summer of 2005, Memory Layne designed and handpainted a "Sailing is Good For You" t-shirt for those who had a passion for sailing.  The design of the sailboat on the back of the shirt is modeled after a New York 40.

After many excited comments on the shirt when it was worn in the boating community that summer, Memory Layne painted more for friends and family.  Shortly after, the first printing of "Sailing Is Good For You" tshirts was made from an original Memory Layne watercolor painting.
